Nursing Informatics
Nursing informatics (NI) is the specialty that integrates nursing practice with the use of computers and information to identify, define, manage and communicate data, information, knowledge and wisdom in nursing practice to improve patient care outcomes. The course encompasses purpose, use and advantages of electronic health records (EHRs) in care facilities.

Course Requirements
• Must be 18 years of age to enroll.
• A copy of your High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
• A report which includes a medical history, physical examination and PPD TB Test or Chest X-Ray (CXR) clearance signed by a healthcare provider confirming good health.
