Procareer Apps — Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Procareer Academy “Procareer,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with our internal team applications — including the Procareer Team Inbox and related tools (collectively, the “Apps”). It describes what we collect when you sign in to and use the Apps, how we use and protect that information, and your choices.
This policy covers the Apps specifically. Information practices for our main website and educational programs are described in our school disclosures and privacy information.

Who the Apps are for
The Apps are provided to authorized staff, contractors, and collaborators of Procareer to carry out day-to-day operations. They are not consumer products and are not directed to children under 13.
Information we collect
• Sign-in information. When you sign in using a third-party identity provider (such as Google, and in the future Microsoft or Apple), we receive your name, email address, profile picture (if available), and a unique account identifier from that provider. We do not receive or store your password.
• Content you create in the Apps. Messages, notes, assignments, email correspondence handled through a shared mailbox, labels, and similar operational content you produce while using the Apps.
• Basic usage and log data. Standard technical information such as timestamps and actions taken, used to operate and secure the Apps.
How we use information
• To authenticate you and confirm you are an authorized user.
• To provide, maintain, and secure the Apps and their features.
• To operate our shared communications and team workflows.
• To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security, or technical issues.
• To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Google user data
Procareer Apps’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, the only Google account information the Apps access is your basic profile — your name, email address, and profile picture — obtained when you choose to sign in with Google, and it is used solely to sign you in and control your access to the Apps.
How we store and protect information
The Apps run on Google Cloud / Firebase, which acts as our service provider for authentication and data storage. Information is stored in that environment and access is restricted to authorized personnel. We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect it.
How information is shared
We share information only: with service providers that host and operate the Apps on our behalf (such as Google Cloud / Firebase); when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security; or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account remains active and as needed to operate the Apps. When your access is removed, or upon a valid request, we delete or de-identify your personal information unless we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business reasons.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@procareer.org. Because the Apps require sign-in, removing your account will end your access to them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
